Liugi Bormioli Taster Glass #2 Destihl Wild Sour Flanders Red Ale 4.0/5

Tonight we're gonna test the Luigi against a standard Tulip with a nice Flanders Red from Destihl Brewing. On the nose she's subtle in the tulip with hints of cherry and currant. The nose on the Luigi is less noticeable, not as sharp or sour. The initial hit from the tulip is mouth puckeringly sour. She tastes of cherry more than anything else, not super complex and not vinegary. The Luigi concentrates the sour even tighter. She comes off fruitier than the tulip with Cherry, Currant and a bit of Pear. Very tart in this glass. Medium fast thru the middle with a nice full mouth and dry and clean on the finish from both. The major difference is how she processes thru the mouth, either top or bottom palate fill. Interesting how the glasses make different experiences in the mouth. Either way she's a good brew.
