Gainesville, Attorney Arrested and Jailed For Not Wearing a Mask

2/4/2021 Gainesville, Fl : Gainesville attorney, Ray Washington was arrested and jailed for not wearing a mask during public comment at a regularly scheduled commission meeting.

The arrest comes weeks after the University of Florida researchers find no (zero) asymptomatic or pre-symptomatic spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus . This finding scientifically disputes the need for non-symptomatic persons to wear a mask.

ALACHUA CHRONICLE, 2-4-2021: Local attorney arrested after removing his mask during Gainesville City Commission meeting

" While he was being handcuffed, he said he had become dizzy while wearing the mask. He was taken to the Alachua County Jail and was booked at 2:38 p.m. Washington will remain in jail until first appearance tomorrow morning."
