Circling Ducks

On a cold evening, saw groups of ducks circling, Bird people aren't 100-percent sure about this, but the thinking is that by paddling around in those tight circles the ducks are agitating the water — sort of setting up a rotation — that brings to the surface the algae and plants and whatever else it is ducks eat.
