Trains have been letting us watch the scenery for a long time.

Trains may have changed over the years, but I'm guessing they affect people just the same. As my youth traveling around the countryside was a fascination. The thump-thump under my feet made the sleep even easier for some reason. And the landscape that is fascinating, even if you've seen it thousands of times.
