That said, I think a lot of people put far too much emphasis on winning.

Much of life is (yet again) "lived in the spaces." As such, spending all of your time on whether or not you win or lose is not as important as people may tend to think.

That's on top of the fact that living up to others' abilities, and putting limitations on you, are definite possibilities.
