I'm cutting up a mix of aspen, oak, and maple with a Stihl 461 with 32" bar, I don't like having to bend over to cut stuff on the ground and that bar size keeps me from having to do so. I also run 16", 18", and 20" bars on this same saw for different cutting applications of work.
