All of the reviews of the Lifetime composters I have seen say that they are great composters but are a pain to put together. The instructions only come with pictures and while every part has a part number in the instructions, only half of the parts have corresponding numbers. The first barrel took me about two hours to assemble because of the learning curve and cussing involved. The rest took me another two hours. Knowing what I know now, I am sure that it would only take me an hour and a half to assemble the whole thing. I took video of every step showing the instructions and me performing that step. Take out your instructions and watch this video series before you unpack anything else.
