20210202 Confirmation Bias - The Daily Summation
CONFIRMATION BIAS! That's what so many yell when you look at things that support those ideas in which you believe.
Is it true? I think it often is.
Is that bad? There are certainly times when confirmation bias is problematic. Much of the time though, I not only don't think it's serious, but I think it should pretty much be expected.
I talk about all of this in the current edition of The Daily Summation from Kurt's Religion and Politics.
When I'm able to write the companion article on the Kurt's Religion and Politics blog, I'll post a link to it here.
