Real Talk Web Series Episode 101: “Absurdity”

In this week’s episode, Todd and AJ bring us the first episode “post-episode 100”! The conversation starts with a raw discussion on the wounds caused from past relationships and the effect that can sometimes cause on our present relationships. Do we make “silent vows” that impact our future without even knowing it? From here the guys turn to the idea of “looking in the mirror” and how hard it can be to face that reflection, at times. It’s then on to a real-life situation that feels like it’s straight out of a crime novel and how this situation can show us how strange our view of our faith can be; it puts on full display the strange “ranking system” we create for sins. Finally, the guys turn to anonymous questions asked by YOU, including: what do the guys tend to put their identity in, other than God; why don’t Believers care more about what they “put into” their bodies like social media, music, movies, etc., and should they care more; what does the term “playing church” mean; and what did the disciples ask Jesus to teach them?
