One Of Our Deleted Albums Series

It's A Beautiful Day was a San Francisco based “psychedelic rock” (perhaps the better term today would be “progressive” or “prog rock”) band which was active between 1967-1973. The band is probably best known for the track “White Bird” which appears on this album, the band's debut release, “It's A Beautiful Day” in 1969.

It's A Beautiful Day was released in 1969 by Columbia Records (catalogue number CS 9768).

This album has since been deleted from the Columbia Records catalogue. It has been re-issued on CD but, as far as I'm aware, the CD re-issues have been deleted as well.

It's A Beautiful Day is not very well known today but deserves more attention.

The audio here is taken from an original early 1970's Canadian pressing of the original Columbia Records vinyl LP.
