Better Than Handouts
The best a fallen creature can hope for is alms: that fate might give one something for free, that chance might ease one’s pain and bend life a little more to one’s liking. However, the Gospel offers something that is far more valuable. God offers us adoption into His family, liberty from the bondage of sin and death, a life where we are made new and walk with Him in the joy of truth.
