1962 Rambler Rat Gasser

This is my home built 1962 Rambler Classic Rat Gasser. 389 cubic inch Small Block Chevy, 400 turbo-hydramatic trans. 1959 Ford 9 inch rear axle. 1951 Chevy Truck front axle. No stutter box, no trans brake, no indexing electronics, no alcohol, n.o.s. or nitro fuel of any kind. Best e.t. to date is 7.35@91mph in an 1/8 mile. A .040 over 454 Big Block Chevy is in the plans for next year. Hope you enjoy. Thanks for looking.
This particular video was the final round against Herman Hill's monster big block chevy Henry J. The tower fouled up our staging tree. But we had already decided to split the purse money so this was a "just for fun run". He beat me by .04 seconds. I'll get him this year though.
I also broke a ladder bar on this run. You may be able to hear it in the video. The old car still ran a 7.55.
