Struthio is a genus of birds in the order Struthioniformes, and its members are ostriches. It is part of the Palaeognathae of the Infrared category, a variety of flightless birds also known as ratites that include emus, rheas, and kiwis. There are two types of living ostriches, the common ostrich, and the Somali ostrich. [2] They are large, flightless birds in Africa and lay the largest eggs of any living land animal. With its ability to run at 70 km / h (43.5 mph), it is the fastest bird on Earth. It is cultivated all over the world, especially for its feathers as it is used for decoration and as feather dusters
