Cameron Peak Fire Smoke Hits Denver Metro Without Warning

Rumble For most of the afternoon today you could see a thick line of smoke from the Cameron Peak fire trailing off to the East Southeast. Late in the afternoon the winds shifted to the Southeast and made a direct line for Denver and the Eastern suburbs of Denver. The smoke came up and over the mountains as started to fill in fast. The Denver Metro area saw a lot of smoke pour in without warning.
