The Problem of Evil is often at the top of the list of problems that Doubting Thomases wrestle with and that stops many non-Christians from believing.

One way that the problem of evil is stated, "Why would a good God create a world so full of evil?"

Salvador Cordova shares ideas that helped him see that an Intelligent Designer, the "Great Playright in the Sky", works all things for the good of His people somewhat like the protagonists in a great play who suffer ordeals in order to achieve happily-ever-after. This theme is stated in 2 Cor 4:17 which says, "This momentary light affliction is building for us an eternal weight of glory, far beyond all comparison."

He relates the intuition of the collective consciousness that intelligently designed drama must have an element of tragedy, evil, and seemingly insurmountable odds that are eventually overcome, and that these are necessary ingredients to living happily ever after.

This is part 1 in a series of videos on the problem of evil.

Sal briefly covers Deuteronomy 13 as an explanation for why God put a snake in the Garden of Eden.

Sal also announces that a separate channel the Evidence Reasons Academy (or ER Academy for short) was formed to equip serious students of the Creation/Evolution/Intelligent Design controversy with basic knowledge of math and science
so they can understand and declare God's miraculous works in the universe and in history.

For the past several months, Sal has focused almost exclusively on Creation, Intelligent Design, Noah's flood on this channel.

He is now focusing on more basic questions and answers on the Christian faith now that the ER Academy is going to handle a lot of the science issues. The ER Academy has undergone a slight administrative issue as far as hosting. When the problem is resolved, God willing, links will be provided where material can be accessed.
