One Of Our Deleted Albums Series

John Baldry (1941-2005) was a British singer and guitarist and a leading figure in 1960's British blues.

Rod Stewart and Elton John both started their careers in John Baldry's bands.

John Baldry released Welcome To Club Casablanca in 1976 on Casablanca Records, catalogue number NBLP-7035-V.

Welcome To Club Casablanca is not one of John Baldry's best albums and it had limited commercial success. It was deleted from the Casablanca Records catalogue by the 1980's and I have never seen it re-issued on CD. It is currently only available as second hand copies of the original LP's.

The audio here was taken from a 1976 Canadian pressing of the original Casablanca Records vinyl LP, which I bought when it was first released in 1976.
