We decided to go to Mt Rainier, but on the way we passed by the Graham county fairgrounds and saw a car show. We decided to stop for a half hour. Mt Rainier is a long drive so we didn’t want to take too much time at the car show. With about a half hour to waste, we ran through the car show, I got about 160 pictures out of this quick stop.
Yes, I really regret not staying longer at the car show and maybe staying up in Paradise Mt Rainier long enough to watch the sunset.
The Graham Father’s Day car show was a great show, very personable and low key. A fantastic assortment of cars there, as you’ll see in my pictures. I was only able to see a fraction of the cars there. My photography partner for the day, July hadn’t been to a car show before, so she was full of questions, with eyes as big as saucers when she was told how much money went into some of these cars.
This trip my photography companion was July, she’d never seen the mountain up close before, so I invited her along. She made the day more fun, pushing me to go ever higher. Always wanting to see what was over the next hill. That is until our shoes got wet from the snow, and the wind started blowing the cold air from the glaciers. Then it was a race to the bottom. All in all a great day. Starting off with a car show we just happened upon, I shot over 1,300 pictures and will be making at least 3 slide shows from this day alone. I hope you enjoy seeing Mt Rainier through my eyes.
