Episode 14- Bob Davis

Bob is a friend whose mom died in 2019 shortly after a liver transplant. She died from complications secondary to DIC- disseminated intravascular coagulation. DIC is a complicated condition where your body uses up all its clotting factors and then you essentially bleed to death. It is exactly as gruesome as it sounds. In this episode Bob talks about his experience with his mom during and after and his struggle to try to learn and educate about the condition.
