President Trump and Melania Leave the White House

January 20, 2021: President Trump left the White House and Washington, D.C. for the last time as president. He stopped briefly to speak to the press, saying, "It's been a great honour, the honour of a lifetime." He boarded Marine One and travelled to Joint Base Andrews in Maryland.

His family and a select group of supporters were waiting at the airfield for a closed departure ceremony which began with a military band playing Hail to the Chief and the 21-gun salute. 👋4️⃣5️⃣🙌💝
