Old School Skiing at Banff

Scenes of skiing at Banff....but very much back in the day....before ski lifts, while skis were still wooden with leather bindings. First, you had to climb the mountain with such skis, then you got the adventure of skiing down. As you might guess, a skiier couldn't get in a lot of full runs down the hill in a day. This film dates back to the late 1930s or the 1940s.
