Its seems now like Minority leader Kevin McCarthy wants to make amends with former President Donald Trump.

Although he did not vote in favor of Trumps impeachment he did agree with the censure. McCarthy was one of Trumps greatest allies during his presidency but seemed to move apart towards the end.

Is this move by McCarthy purely political or does he truly see the error in his ways. With Trump being, arguable, the most powerful Republican today it makes sense that McCarthy would want to return to his good graces in order to move forward for the future of the Republican party.
