Billionaire Hedge fund managers are loosing money by shorting Game Stop (GME), don’t you feel bad for them? Now Robinhood, TD Ameritrade and others have halted trading of Game Stop (GME). Is this fair and equitable, just because hedge funds are loosing money. The Chief Executive of the NASDAQ, Adena Friedman, has now stepped in saying that they are going to monitor online chatter and look at halting future scenarios like Game Stop. Even Massachusetts state regulator, William Galvin, called on the New York Stock Exchange to suspend GameStop for 30 days to allow a “cooling-off period.” Yet, with a new investor GameStop has a plan to compete with Amazon as a video game retailer and Amazon lost money for years and people still invested their money, which Amazon used to eliminate competition, like GameStop (GME).
