Star Wars DOESN'T NEED REY

Star Wars has started moving into a new era. The High Republic has just released leading us down a new path and exciting journey. The Disney+ hit show, The Mandalorian, is giving us all we wanted to see, and more, when they announced a new Trilogy in 2012. So are the Sequel even worth watching at this point? I am not saying Retcon or Remove them but.... are they needed? Is Rey Needed?
