There are lots of great arrows out there, but these XTORSION ended up being on the top of my list due to the new Metal Weave technology of combining stainless steel and carbon, in a 90 degree weave.

BY Weaving the carbon in strands at 90 degrees from each other every layer of carbon is stronger and resists the Torsional Deflection. By incorporating Stainless steel, the arrow weight and density are higher, the arrow is less malleable, (unlike aluminum) and more energy is delivered into the target, due to a reduction in torsional deflection (Bending and flexing due to force applied to either end of the arrow).

Torsional deflection [Tor-shen-all Deef-lec-shun] can come from the STRING's application of force into the arrow, or the TARGET'S dramatic stopping of the arrow. Torsional Deflection can cause a loss of energy from the bow to the target, as some of the energy put into the arrow from the string can be lost in that side to side flexing of the arrow. The same is true for hitting a solid target like bone. If the arrow flexes when it hits a solid target, energy is lost into that wave of flexion as it changes the forward momentum into a side to side flexion. This is where this arrow technology is made king.
