The Exodus - Trust in God

The Exodus was both a trial & a time of rejoicing for the children of Israel as the came out of Egypt. It was a trial because of the great power of Pharaoh. And it was a time of rejoicing because God had promised to deliver them, and their lifted their hopes.

The Exodus is a theme for all of us today. And it's, it's really through these tough conditions. Like passing through the Red Seas, I said that that Pharaohs drowned because his heart hardens. In times like this, and, and he follows after God's people.

It's a tough time and people are uncertain about the future and what it will bring. But I want to really encourage us that, tough times, are times also when God is bringing down these powers.

So we don't know what 2021 will bring. It will bring threats and concerns and different things like this. But I want us to be assured and to understand that God is at work. He is the God of Exodus, He is the God of Jubilee. He's bringing us out of these Pharaonic dictatorial situations.
But God is bringing us out, as he's always done in Scripture.
And as I said, as times look tough, that's only because God is creating a scenario in where we're Pharaoh will drown. And so, like it says in the book of Isaiah, as we pass through the waters we will not drown. As we pass through the fire, we will not burn. He promised His people, they would not drown in the floods, they would not burn in the fires.

So God is with us. One thing the people of Israel learned in the exodus was to trust God that He was worthy, and faithful, and He could be trusted. He brought them through the wilderness, He blessed them, and He met all their needs. This is the same God we serve today. He is mighty, He is almighty, and He has a plan, to overcome evil, to renew the nations to renew our lives and to use his church, once again, to bring abundance and blessing to this world.

So this is a good year, in 2021. It's a year in which God is working. It's a year in which God is with us is bringing us out of exile in Babylon is bringing us out of all of these same situations, he delivered Israel from the Old Testament, and he's doing it for the church today. Have faith, have trust. Go forward. Keep moving forward. Because you know, God is with you. We make all of these plans, but Jesus just said go. He said, Go, I am with you. I will never leave you nor forsake you. He will make the way where there is no way. Sometimes we just stay around waiting for the proper time waiting for this to happen or this to be provided and so on.

That's not how it works. By first and you'll find out that God is good. He's not limited by what's happening in the world. He is above it all. He is almighty. He is the highest power. He loves you and He will be with you in 2021. So go and serve Him. Go and answer His call. God will be with you. God bless you.
