My 40th Starsky & Hutch Gran Torino, Sport, Floor Shift, 351 Cleveland!

Here is the 40th Starsky & Hutch Gran Torinos that I have made over the last 15 years of so. This particular Gran Torino was a factory 2B Bright Red Car, No opera windows, No vinyl top car.

The 351 Cleveland has only 50,000 original miles. The options are the Sport Option which got you the sport gauge cluster and special sport interior. Most sports had a bench seat and column shifter. This one came with the hard to find floor shifter with console. The other options are working air conditioning, AM/FM radio, dual remote sport (bullet) mirrors. It also has the deluxe light package witch gives you the dome light with map lights, right and left foot lights, trunk and hood lights and a light in the console storage compartment and they all work.

The wheels are vintage slot mags and the engine was serviced by having the valve guides done, the tranny was also gone through. The fuel system was all done with an almost new gas tank installed, the carb was nicely rebuilt. it has a new rag joint and brakes. It also has a new heater core and the air was serviced and is blowing cold.
