The valley is waking up to lows in the 30s while the mountains are in the teens and 20s. We'll enjoy clearing skies with great air quality but it stays cold all day. The valley will top out in the upper 40s and low 50s today while the Kern River Valley tries to reach a high of 40 this afternoon. Tehachapi and Frazier Park will enjoy the snow most of the day with forecast highs just above freezing briefly this afternoon.
