The European Commission president, Ursula von der Leyen, is warning of the impact that the world's largest tech companies have on democracies and national security. Speaking at this year's Davos Economic Forum, the EU chief also said that Twitter's decision to ban former President Donald Trump represented "serious interference" with freedom of expression, "no matter how tempting it may have been."
