Underwater volcanoes are more numerous than terrestrial, but they are still unknown. To speak of these amazing volcanoes, there are two main types. The first among tectonic plates and forms huge volcanic chains under the sea. The second is an isolated volcano that grows from the depths of the ocean, sometimes appearing as islands. Reunion, Canary Islands, for example, studying underwater volcanic activity revolves poorly because going into an eruption scene is always complicated. Especially since these events occur at great depths and for a relatively short period of time. However, it is possible to observe, in certain parts of the globe and at great altitudes, the presence of calcified lava and the remains of underwater eruptions in the past.
