Rest With Me is a song that describes the struggle of the main male character in the novel, "Breathe In," by author Martha Sweeney (www.marthasweeney.com), to get the main female character to fall in love with him. She continually resists his advances, but he persists and finally wins her over. Martha asked me to write a song for the characters in her novel, and this was what came out.
