Start of Week 3 of trying to cut caffeine consumption down. Reviewing the PARAMOUNT role of social support in changing anything you do on a daily basis. Pull your friends, co-workers, and family in to help you! Health Coaches are great at their jobs of support, accountability, and motivation, but the goal is to stack the odds of success in your favor when they are not there in person when you are having an internal dialogue regarding which path to take. Have everyone that cares be a constant daily reminder of how powerful you can become when you prove to yourself that you can accomplish what you set out to.

We spoke about predicting obstacles and fumbling points in an earlier video; here we talk about erecting barriers and putting up obstacles for your OLD HABIT to make it as hard and annoying as possible for you to continue your old ways. If convenience and familiarity are you sticking point, make your old behavior the least convenient thing you can! Reward yourself for your new behavior and punish yourself (gently) if you succumb to the old pressures.
