Mining Beige Calcite in Malibu, California

Exploring the Malibu Lake area a few years ago we stumbled across just one huge boulder in the creek bed that had veins of nice beige calcite running through it. We extracted a few hundred pounds out of that one boulder and all of you have enjoyed purchasing that material. This year we have explored the hillsides above the creek and have located the source of the calcite.
