Beside the Lake at Taize

A piece I composed shortly after my father passed away, a celebration of his life, love of music and faith. Not long before he died I visited Taize, a Christian spiritual retreat in France where many young people flock from around the world. Sitting by the lake there and hearing the church bells ring inspired the beginning and ending of the work.
