An image by the famous pointillist painting by Georges-Pierre Seurat, 'Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte' is accompanied by a beautiful instrumental version of "Please, Please, Please, Let Me Get What I Want", originally by The Smiths but covered here by the Dream Academy. These two magnificent works, separated by almost exactly 100 years, were featured alongside of each other in the film "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" released in 1986.

Seurat's masterpiece is currently housed in the Art Institute of Chicago, along with other master works by artists such as Paul Gauguin, Claude Monet, Vincent Van Gogh, Mary Cassatt, Grant Wood and Edward Hopper.

The Dream Academy's instrumental here was never released on any soundtrack, but their version with vocals can be found on their compilation album "Somewhere In The Sun...Best Of The Dream Academy" imported from Japan in 2000 on the Wea International label.
