Thao Sofia and I were going to Shelton to find fresh Oysters to eat. We came upon this roadside Flower stand that was selling u-pick Dahlias. The owners allowed us to wander about and take pictures. Sofia and I each grabbed a Sony A77camera. Sofia grabbed the camera with the fish eye lens, a great lens for taking pictures of single flowers. While I grabbed the camera with the Zeiss 16 to 80 mm lens.
2018 Shelton Roadside Dahlia Flower stand was, like all other gardens, was an awesome place to go for wasting hours on end taking pictures. Thao spent her time actually picking flowers, not sure why, that bouquet lasted a week, but our pictures have lasted years.  I hope you enjoy Sofia and my efforts to immortalize these beautiful flowers.
