Where is the promise of His second coming?
In the last days the Bible says in
2 Peter 3:1-4... knoweth this first that there shall come in the last days scoffers of mockers walking after the own lusts saying, where is the promise of his coming? For since the fathers fell asleep all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation

Let’s read some of the many verses in the Bible where it tells us his coming is eminent, true, sudden, visible, noisy, disruptive, fiery, inevitable and soon. Very soon. Jesus is coming.

Matthew 28:16-20 Then the 11 disciples went to Galilee to the mountains where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him they worshiped him but some doubted ,then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been giving to me therefore go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the father the son and the Holy Spirit and teach them to obey all that I have commanded and surely I am with you always to the very end of the age.”

Acts 1:11 Man of Galilee why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus who is taking up from you into heaven will so come in like manner as you saw him go into heaven
Also in Luke 24:50-51 & Mark 16:19

Isaiah 60:1-2 Arise, shine for the light is come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For behold the darkness shall cover the earth and gross darkness the people but the Lord shall arise upon thee and his glory shall be upon thee.

Luke 17:29 Jesus said the same day that Lot went out to Sodom it rain to fire and brimstone from heaven and destroy them all. Even those surely be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed.

Mark 13:26-27 and then shall they see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. And then shall he sent his angels and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost parts of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

Revelation 1:7 behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall whale because of him. Even so, amen.

Matthew 24:29 immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken; and then shall appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Isaiah 13:6 behold, the day of the Lord, cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners there of out of it. Howl ye; for the day of the Lord is at hand; it shall come as a Destruction from the Almighty. Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man’s heart shall melt: and they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take a hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another: their faces shall be as Flames. Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners there of out of it.

Revelation 16:18 and there were voices, and thunder, and lightning, and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, is so great.

Revelation 22:7 behold, I come quickly; blessed is he that keepth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.

Colossians 3:4 when Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall we also appear with him and Glory.
