I really enjoyed this sermon, and though it seemed fairly short, I found it fascinating. It was very interesting to hear the Father’s assessment of St. Mark’s writings and describe the urgency and passion St. Mark felt for sharing his stories about Jesus. No matter how many times I might read the Book of Mark in my lifetime, I doubt I’d ever recognize these details about St. Mark and his writings, and likely would’ve thought it unnecessary to take notice. Thanks to this sermon, I have a new appreciation for the Book of Mark; and, in the future, I’ll be paying closer attention to such details when I’m studying The Word of God.
