Isaiah 45:20

Revelation 9:20
The rest of mankind who were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the work of their hands; they did not stop worshiping demons, and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone and wood—idols that cannot see or hear or walk

Jonah 2:8
“Those who cling to worthless idols turn away from God’s love for them
. Judges 10:14
Go and cry out to the gods you have chosen. Let them save you when you are in trouble!”
Leviticus 19:4
“ ‘Do not turn to idols or make metal gods for yourselves. I am the LORD your God.

1Timothy 4:1

Matthew 24:10–12: “At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold.” These are the characteristics of the great apostasy of the end times
