This dome took 6 hours to build using 250 lb heavy duty plastic Zip Ties and our patented geodesic dome hubs. The dome will support over 300 lbs and is made entirely of plastic, but we do offer stainless steel zip ties for permanent construction. The struts are made from standard 1.5" Schedule 40 PVC pipe.
