蘆葦草生長於沼澤，河邊和海灘等濕地的植物。
遍布全世界溫帶和熱帶，蘆葦屬植物大約有10種。
蘆葦花是圓錐花序，花穗長10-40厘米，
每個小穗有4-7朵小花，屬風媒花。
花剛開時帶有些綠色，之後花穗轉為黃褐色。
在香港元朗南生圍，有很多蘆葦，非常茂盛。
在港島郊野公園看到的蘆葦。
蘆葦不是令人驚艷的植物，但很好看。

Reed grass is a plant that grows in wetlands such as swamps, riversides and beaches.
There are about 10 species of Phragmites in temperate and tropical regions all over the world.
The reed flower is a panicle with a spike length of 10-40 cm.
Each spikelet has 4-7 small flowers, which are anemophilous flowers.
The flower is slightly green when it first opens, and then the flower spike turns yellowish brown.
In Nam Sheng Wai, Yuen Long, Hong Kong, there are many reeds that are very lush.
