https://spencercoffman.com/deception-tip-12/ Truthful gestures are simultaneous, which means they happen with one another. They happen in synchronization with speech. Often, when people lie, they are busy thinking about all of the other aspects of their lie. They are stressed and tense. As a result, the natural synchronization of speech and body movement may be off.

Deception Tip 12: Truthful words and gestures occur simultaneously. In contrast, lying words and gestures will be out of sync.

Example: Pointing after speaking.
