LIMBIC SYSTEM is a set of structures in the brain and many of those structures play an important role in regulating emotion. The limbic system is considered the “emotional seat” of your brain, where you store and retrieve emotions.

LIMBIC SYSTEM STRUCTURES
Thalamus is the switchboard of the brain.
Amygdala is the emotional powerhouse of the brain.
Hippocampus forms new memories, from short-term memory to long-term memory.
Hypothalamus is the command center of the brain.
