In this Premier Episode, we start this channel off with a bang as we critique a very rare Smith & Wesson Revolver.

The Nickel Plated 29-3 .44 Magnum was commissioned in 1983 by California's Orange County Advisory Council as part of their Project 999 program.

This firearm commemorates the Tomato Springs Shoot-Out that took place in Southern California in 1912 where the death of Officer Robert Squires, the first Orange County Under-Sheriff to lose his life in the line of duty, occurred.

Only 250 of these revolvers were made from 1983 to 1984 by Smith & Wesson and they do not appear in any of the Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson ( SCSW ) editions released so far. Virtually no one knows these revolvers even exist. A truly rare item by most any standard.
