Pros and Cons of Annuities | Are Annuity Worth It?

Are annuities a good investment? Are annuity worth it? Do you even know what an annuity is? How can you determine the pros and cons of annuities? MANY people don't know either so don't feel bad if you can't answer any of these questions.

A quick explanation of annuities is that they are insurance contracts that promise to pay you regular income either immediately or in the future. You can buy an annuity with a lump sum or a series of payments. The income you receive from an annuity is taxed at regular income tax rates, not capital gains rates, which are usually lower.

There are many limits with annuities that you might not be aware of.
