Eric Halfvarson reading 'Father Mapple' from "Moby Dick" by Herman Melville

Even though I am a bit new to this form of performance art, and though I would certainly not dare to compare myself with the Giants who came before, I feel very strongly that this text has a deep meaning that could actually be somehow, helpful to at least one or two other people out there, in these difficult times. The text, by Herman Melville, published in "Moby-Dick..." in 1851, is curiously applicable to current times! This version was edited by Orson Welles for John Huston's film, "Moby Dick," produced in 1956. Welles performed the role as well.
It is not recommended to beginners of the "Self Tape'' to publish on line prematurely, but I felt this was worth it, to have it out there now...
For me, it is a work in progress! I thank you for your patience and understanding!
