You can’t forgive? What does the Bible tell us about forgiveness?

Forgiveness or Unforgiveness

Matthew 6:14-15 For if you forgive men their trespasses your heavenly father will also forgive you but if you do not forgive men their trespasses neither will your father forgive your trespasses

Matthew 18:21-22 Then Peter came to him and said , Lord how often shall I my brother is in against me and I forgive him? Up to seven times? Jesus replied I do not say to you up to 70 times but up to 70×7

Micah 7 He will again have compassion on us he would shred our iniquities underfoot you will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea

Isaiah 43:25 I am he who blocks out your transgressions for my own sake and I will not remember your sins

Mark 11:24-25 whatsoever you ask in prayer believe that you have received it and it will be yours and when you’re praying if you hold anything against anyone Forgive them so that your father in heaven may forgive you your sins

And here’s a promise that our Lord gives to us

Matthew 11:28-30
“Come to me all You who labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest take my yoke upon you and learn from me for I am gentle and lowly in heart and you will find rest for your souls for my yoke is easy and my burden is light”.
