An antifascist sympathizer from Tallahassee, Florida has been arrested for making a call to action advocating violence against protesters at the Florida State Capitol on Sunday, January 17th.

Daniel Baker, a former transnational volunteer soldier for the Syrian YPG, was apprehended by federal law enforcement after he published a call to arms for comrades to forcibly confine Republican protesters who planned to gather at the Florida State Capitol to protest the inauguration of 46th President, Joe Biden.

According to the criminal complaint filed, Baker had become a subject of interest for the FBI after it was noticed he was utilizing social media as a recruiting tool to organize and train other like-minded extremists to further antigovernmental goals.
