Camping in Paradise | Exploring Eagle Rock Loop

This trip started with us setting up camp at near the Albert Pike Campground that was closed in the Ouachita National Forest in Arkansas. We gave a tour of our campground and talked about the changes that occurred do to the recent flooding in that area of the Oucahita National Forest. We cooked a pesto gnocchi with a cream sauce. The next morning we woke up and enjoyed a breakfast scramble. Once done, we drove to one of the many trailheads of Eagle Rock Loop, and hiked to the winding stairs of the Little Missouri River. after that we went back to camp and cooked salmon with parmesan rice. The next morning we had a quick breakfast before leaving the Albert Pike area of the Ouachita National Forest, and drove to Slate Rock Brewing in Amity, Arkansas.
