Cats are known for spending a long time licking their fur to keep it clean
The shape and structure of cats' cheeks is not sufficient to suck liquids, as they move their tongue to draw liquids up into their mouths. Cats move their tongue at a rate of four times per second by touching the tip smooth from the tongue to the surface of the water and pulling it up quickly
Wild cats and domestic cats that are free-eaters consume several small meals a day. The frequency and size of meals varies between individuals. Cats choose their food on the basis of its temperature, smell and texture. They hate refrigerated foods and respond strongly to moist foods rich in amino acids that are similar to meat. Cats reject new flavors (this is called "neophobia" or a new phobia) and quickly learn to avoid foods that have been unpopular in the past.
