President Trump Made More PROGRESS on North Korea Than Any President
July 27, 2018: After President Trump's historic meeting in Singapore with Chairman Kim Jong Un, the Chairman fulfilled part of the commitment he made to President Trump to repatriate the remains of U.S. soldiers killed during the Korean war some 68 years ago. Close to 7,700 U.S. soldiers are said to remain unaccounted for from the 1950-53 Korean War. A U.S. military plane and its crew travelled to Wonsan, North Korea, to collect the remains. The last time North Korea turned over remains was in 2007.
President Trump made more progress on North Korea than any president in history. He wisely ignored the advice of those before him and tweeted out, "Funny to watch people who have failed for years, they got nothing, telling me how to negotiate with North Korea, but thanks anyway!"
